The Clinic has provided occupational medicine services for more than 60 years.  The current medical director Dr. Gail Blakley is a third-generation Giessel to staff this family-owned clinic. 

What We Do

In addition to providing examinations regarding employment, the staff has expertise in travel medicine.  We provide immunizations to prevent such illnesses as yellow fever, typhoid and hepatitis.  Medication can be prescribed to prevent malaria, altitude sickness and travellers' diarrhea.  Dr. Blakley is experienced in Maritime Medicine and is proficient in performing examinations required by the U. S. Coast Guard and Military Sealift Command,  She is a Civil Surgeon authorized by USCIS to perform the immigration examination and report Form I-693.

We have the 2011-2012 influenza vaccine, which also protects against the H1N1 (Swine) flu.  This includes the "needle-less" shot. We also have the pneumonia vaccine (Pneumovax 23), which helps prevent one serious complication of influenza.
